Math 8 Surveys Campus

Mrs. Guzzetta’s Math 8 students took advantage of some great weather with the help of Pat Sadler and Dan Prokupets from WoodWise Land Company.  Students identified different types of maple trees for potential tapping, measured the diameter and height of trees with special forestry instruments, and calculated the amount of lumber potential for each tree.  The lesson was captured by students on their iPads to be used in a final documentary of the project.
